Infant Care
I have a special place in my heart for my infants.They need lots of love and attention for healthy development. I have a small group size and cozy environment to provide safe quality care for your little one.
Toddler Care
Crawling, Climbing, Touching, Tasting, the busy toddler is ready to investigate everything! I have designed a safe space to engage their bodies and minds in their journey of discovery.
Preschoolers
Imagination, Wonder and Discovery are the journey of the preschooler. Your child will develop life skills while playing, singing, creating, and exploring in the routines and rhythms of our day.
A Little About Myself
I find joy in watching children develop, pure of heart and full of spirit! I am blessed to have a job I Love. My career in early childhood began age 16, when I spent 2 years as a Montessori preschool assistant. Many years later I began family childcare on the big island of Hawaii.Six years later I moved to Oregon and opened Heartsong Family Childcare. My professional achievements include serving on the board of Hawaii Association for the Education of Young Children,and The Good Beginnings alliance. In Oregon a Chapter leader and board member of Provider Resource organization (P.R.O.) I completed a child development associate credential ( CDA ), and continue to take early childhood classes and workshops to further enhance my knowledge and keep up to date with current ideas and trends.
